Morningside eCIP Blog

Blogging will be an  excellent way for me to gather input from the members of the school eCIP Committee.  Sometimes it is hard to find a day where we can all stay after school and work on updating the eCIP.  With the school blog, requests can be  disseminated to committee members and they can then gather the needed data for visits from Central Office staff.  This will also give the other staff members a chance to see how the eCIP process works.

Blogging in the Classroom

I wanted to find a way to share thoughts and ideas with other educators.  Although my school has only recently been renovated, which included much needed technology, I would like to be prepared to help some of the more skeptical members of our staff.  I feel that having a resource right  at their fingertips would help fellow staff members.  Although I am older than many of my fellow staff members, I hope my  eagerness to find ways to share ideas and resources with them will help "light a fire" under some of them to do the same. We, as educators, have got to prepare our students for the world outside, especially those whose resources at home are limited or nonexistent.

Can Do Attitude!

I created a web site for my husband's business so blogging should be "a piece of cake".  Hope I don't have to eat that cake!
